Product Introduction

 

The BT5 titanium bar is made from the Russian grade BT5 titanium alloy (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) through a hot processing method. As a typical near-α titanium alloy, this product retains the excellent specific strength and corrosion resistance of titanium materials, while the solid solution strengthening effect of aluminum and tin provides outstanding high-temperature stability, creep resistance, and weldability. It serves as a fundamental material for key components in aerospace, shipbuilding, chemical equipment, and other fields.

 

Production process

 

Adopting advanced hot processing technology: Firstly, the BT5 titanium alloy ingot is subjected to multi-directional free forging below the β phase transition point to break the as cast microstructure and obtain uniformly refined forging billets; Subsequently, precision forging or rolling machines are used for precision forming, with strict control over deformation temperature and deformation amount; Finally, the microstructure and properties were optimized through solution treatment and annealing processes. Strict temperature control and process parameter monitoring are implemented throughout the entire process to ensure that the product achieves ideal high-temperature performance and mechanical performance matching.
