Grade 12 (UNS R53400) titanium round bar is a corrosion-resistant titanium alloy, classified as a near α type alloy with the nominal composition of Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni. By adding molybdenum (Mo) and nickel (Ni), its corrosion resistance is significantly enhanced, particularly in high-temperature, low pH chloride, or weakly reducing acid environments, demonstrating excellent crack resistance.
It complies with STM B348-2013: Core Standard for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Bars, which covers requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, etc.
GB/T 2965-2023: Chinese National Standard, replacing the 2007 version, updates inspection methods and technical requirements.

Chloride environment: shows significantly better resistance to crevice corrosion in hot brine (pH ≥ 3) compared to pure titanium (Gr.2), approaching the level of Gr.7 (titanium-palladium alloy).

Diameter tolerance: ±0.13mm~±0.28mm, ovality tolerance: 0.20mm~0.41mm, depending on the diameter range.
