Grade 9 titanium alloy round bar is a low-alloyed near-α titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-3Al-2.5V. Its chemical composition mainly includes titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), and vanadium (V), with specific ratios of about 3%-5% aluminum, 3%-4% vanadium, and the remainder being titanium. This alloy has excellent cold formability and weldability, with strength at room temperature and high temperatures 20%-50% higher than that of industrial pure titanium. It also exhibits good corrosion resistance in various media. The standards for Grade 9 titanium alloy round bars primarily include ASTM B265, GB/T3620.16-2020, among others. According to ASTM B265 standards, the grade for Grade 9 titanium alloy is R56320, which meets the requirements of ASTM B265-2015. Additionally, GB/T3620.16-2020 also specifies the grades and chemical compositions for Grade 9 titanium alloys.

Corrosion resistance: excellent corrosion resistance to seawater, chloride ions, acid and alkali solutions, particularly outstanding in marine environments. Further enhancing corrosion resistance can be achieved by adding palladium (Pd) or ruthenium (Ru).
