Titanium 15333 Aerospace-Grade Bar are products made from Ti-15Mo-3Al-3Nb-3Cr alloy through precision processing. As a typical metastable β-type titanium alloy, this material has wide applications in aerospace, high-end medical, and chemical equipment fields, and is particularly suitable for manufacturing key structural components that require high strength, high toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance.

 

The Titanium 15333 Aerospace-Grade Bar and rod products have unique performance advantages. The sheet products exhibit excellent formability and uniform structural characteristics, especially suitable for large structural components such as aircraft skins and rocket shells; Rod products have excellent strength toughness matching and processing performance, making them ideal materials for manufacturing aviation engine parts and medical implants. Compared with traditional TC4 alloy, it maintains considerable strength while increasing fracture toughness by about 30%, and has better stress corrosion resistance, with a working temperature range of up to 400 ℃.

Production process

 

The Titanium 15333 Aerospace-Grade Bar is produced using precise thermo-mechanical processing. The bar is manufactured through multi-directional forging and precision forging processes to achieve a dense and uniform forged structure. The key heat treatment processes include solution treatment above the β phase transition temperature, followed by staged aging at 480-520°C. By controlling the morphology and distribution of the secondary α phase precipitation, precise regulation of the material's properties is achieved.

Packaging and transportation

 

Titanium 15333 Aerospace-Grade Bar have excellent room temperature forming performance and age-strengthening ability, good plasticity in the solution-treated state, and the strength after aging can reach over 1300MPa. For diameters ≤ 50mm, they are supplied as straight bars or coils; for diameters > 50mm, they are supplied as straight bars. The delivery condition is usually solution-treated (β-annealed) or black/turned surface; please confirm the specifics with the manufacturer.

 

Wrap with rust proof paper and pack in customized wooden boxes, with humidity indicator cards and desiccants placed inside the boxes. Clearly label product information and moisture-proof and anti-collision markings on the outside of the packaging to ensure excellent performance of the product during storage and transportation.
