Product Introduction
Gr.11 titanium forgings are made by adding trace amounts of palladium (Pd) element to industrial pure titanium, and are a typical alpha beta titanium alloy. This key improvement significantly enhances their corrosion resistance in harsh media, especially in reducing acid and chloride environments, while maintaining excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance of pure titanium. Through the titanium alloy forging process, we can obtain forging products with uniform structure, fine grain size, and excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, which is an ideal choice for high demand applications such as chemical, marine, and medical fields.

Product Description
This product is known for its excellent "cost-effectiveness" and corrosion resistance. Trace amounts of palladium as a strong oxidant greatly promote the stability and self-healing ability of titanium's passive film in oxygen deficient or reducing media, effectively resisting crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Compared with pure titanium, it has a wider applicability in high concentration, high temperature chloride environments, and non oxidizing acids such as dilute sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. The forged structure endows the product with higher strength, better fatigue resistance, and isotropy, ensuring its long-term service safety under complex stress conditions.
Production process
Our Gr.11 titanium forgings strictly follow the precision forging process. Firstly, high-quality Gr.11 titanium alloy ingots are selected, heated multiple times, and subjected to free forging or die forging on a 10000 ton hydraulic press. The original as cast structure is shattered through massive plastic deformation to eliminate internal defects. Subsequently, the forging will undergo a series of strictly controlled solid solution treatment and annealing processes to precisely adjust its microstructure, eliminate internal stress, and ultimately obtain the product with the best match of strength, plasticity, and toughness. Every process is under strict quality control.
