Based on the current development status, the development of China's titanium industry will focus on the following directions in the future:
First, integrate China's titanium industry chain as soon as possible, starting with titanium ore, and transform the current titanium slag and sponge titanium production enterprises by introducing foreign technology and processes to form a high-quality and batch-stable supply channel for sponge titanium raw materials.
Secondly, introduce foreign titanium alloy processing technology and equipment, integrate the current domestic titanium processing enterprises, and form a homogeneous and stable titanium processing material batch supply chain from smelting, forging, rolling, extrusion, billeting and other links of titanium alloy processing production technology, and disperse quality control to each processing link to form a high-end aerospace titanium alloy processing material supply system.
Second, under the current supply-side reform and the country's vigorous advocacy of military-civilian integration, titanium industry enterprises should seize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, actively participate in the research and production of environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, military-civilian matching products, etc., improve the survival and core competitiveness of enterprises, and seek greater development opportunities in market competition through the capital market.
Third, most of the domestic titanium industry and enterprises are still selling products around the traditional titanium application fields and customers for many years, and half of the enterprises are still doing upstream and downstream business in the industry. Downstream enterprises find it difficult to open up new markets and applications due to their own strength, innovation and business capabilities. This requires enterprises in the industry to work together, unite and organize under the association to jointly open up new application markets.
