2, Product Introduction:
TC11 belongs to the α+β type thermal strength titanium alloy, with a nominal composition of Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si, and a long-term working temperature of up to 500 ℃. It is a key material for high-pressure compressor discs and disks in aircraft engines. This grade of forging has very little circulation in the civilian market, mainly relying on the designated production of the aviation development system. The forging difficulty lies in the high degree of alloying and deformation resistance of TC11, as well as its extreme sensitivity to microstructure - the compressor disc requires a uniform and fine equiaxed or bimodal structure, and the content and morphology of the primary alpha phase directly determine the low cycle fatigue life of the disc. The preparation process adopts a combination of β single-phase zone billet opening and two-phase zone multi-directional forging and drawing. After the final heat is formed at a temperature close to the phase transition point, it is water-cooled and then subjected to 950 ℃/2h air cooling+530 ℃/6h aging treatment. The tensile strength can reach 1069-1088 MPa. The disk has undergone ultrasonic testing, and the noise level can be controlled within 0.8-12dB.

TC11 compressor disc forgings are specifically designed for high-pressure compressor discs, low-pressure compressor discs, and gas turbine compressor unit discs in aircraft engines. In the field of military aviation, TC11 is the core material of compressor discs for a certain series of engines; In the field of industrial gas turbines, high and low pressure compressor discs are used for 30MW level driven compressor units. Due to the involvement of aviation safety components in this product, each batch needs to undergo room temperature tensile testing, high temperature tensile testing, durability and creep performance testing with furnace samples. The production cycle is long and the quality traceability requirements are strict, making it not a conventional circulating product in the general forging market.
