On the basis of making good titanium alloy forging products, Shaanxi Hangyu Nonferrous Metal Processing Co., Ltd. has achieved key technological breakthroughs in TC4 titanium alloy thick plate products through innovative research and development, and successfully rolled 95×1300×4000mm wide-width ultra-thick titanium alloy plates. All mechanical properties meet the requirements of the National Military Standard and ASTM B265 standard. The flatness, microstructure rating and surface quality of the thick plate all reach the domestic advanced level, playing a key role in the extension of the company's titanium industry chain.
In recent years, the company has continuously promoted independent innovation, increased investment in scientific research funds, strengthened technological research and development and research, and focused on solving key technologies for titanium alloy processing. During the development process, the company's technical team has overcome and mastered a series of key technologies such as smelting of ultra-large TC4 titanium alloy ingots, preparation of wide-width ultra-thick titanium alloy slabs and plate rolling. The 95mm thickness plate is tested in a CNAS-certified third-party testing agency for vertical and horizontal room temperature stretching, high-power tissue (see Figure 1) and impact. The results show that the difference in vertical and transverse room temperature stretching is only 25Mpa, the microstructure is uniform, the product quality reaches the domestic advanced level, and it has the ability to deliver stable batches.
